If you’ve installed the Userback widget code on your project and the screenshot is missing some elements such as SVG or background images, just check that you have selected the best project type.
Userback has 2 types to choose from, Live and Local.
Live is best selected where your assets and content such as images, SVG, Canvas can be accessed via the internet. If this is your project, select the live option.
Local is best selected where your assets and content are hosted on a local server such as your development host. Please note that your screenshots will not be 100% pixel perfect and some images such as SVG and Canvas will not display.
The local setting may not be perfect however, it is much better than asking your users to install and use the browser extension. Most of the time, your screenshots will be detailed enough to understand exactly what the user is trying to articulate.
To change your project settings ensure the correct project and click the settings menu.
When setting up a new project, Userback will also give you the option to select a project type so you do not need to come back to the settings menu to change it later.
