If you use Jira, or Jira Service Desk to manage bug tracking and other tasks, you'll be glad to know that you can connect Userback to both tools with our Jira integration.
You can choose which Userback projects to connect to Jira and either manually or automatically push feedback through.
Connecting to Jira is simple. All you need is your Jira URL, a Username and an API Token.
Connect Userback to Jira
Head into Userback and click Integrations. Select the project you would like to connect and click the green activate button for Jira.

Add your Jira login details and click Next.
Note: The latest version of Jira requires an API Token to be used. If you are using Jira Cloud or your self hosted Jira is the latest version, You must use an API Token instead of your account password. You can click the "Get my Jira API Token" link to create an API Token.

Step 3:
If the login details are correct, you'll be able to select the Issue details that you would like all of your feedback for the selected project to go to.

Click Save

Congratulations! Your Jira connection will now be activated. On the Jira integrations panel, you can select if you would like to send ALL of your feedback to Jira or manually send specific feedback.
Send feedback to Jira
If you've selected to manually send feedback to Jira, you'll need to do this from the feedback page.
To send feedback to Jira
Click the Feedback menu and select a feedback.
On the top shelf menu, click 'Send to JIRA'

Clicking the Send to Jira button will load the Jira options modal, allowing you to complete all of the required fields in your Jira project. This will ensure your team receive all of the relevant and correct information when the Jira task is logged.

The following fields are typically common for most Jira projects, you may have more, or less enabled and the modal will be representative of what is configured on your Jira account.
Project: The project in your Jira account that this feedback will be sent to.
Issue Type: The type of issue you are logging. Select the appropriate option from the drop down.
Summary: Provide an appropriate summary of the task you are logging. Eg. Display bug on main call to action button.
Description: Userback will pre-fill the description with comments in the feedback, meta data and console information. You can add further notes here such as 'Steps to replicate' etc.
Reporter: Who is reporting this issue. If your name is not in the list, you will need to be added as a user to the Jira account.
Assignee: Who you would like to assign the task to.
Your completed form may look like this

Once you have sent the feedback to JIRA, this link will change to 'View in Jira'

If you click this URL, you'll be taken directly to the issue inside your JIRA with all of the feedback details including the screenshot and any original comments.
