Your widget can be edited and personalized to suit the requirements of your project.
To start, select the project that you would like to edit. Click the settings menu and select 'Edit Widget'.
Clicking Edit widget will load the widget workflow that will help you create the perfect feedback widget for your project.
Step 1: Select the type of widget button. O button or Pill
Clicking More Settings will allow you to set the widget colours and text for the feedback buttons.
Step 2: Select the type of feedback you would like to collect.
Select Screenshots if you would like to automatically load the annotation tool to allow your clients and web visitors to provide pinpoint feedback and comments before submitting the final feedback form.
Select General feedback if you would simply like to collect general feedback on the page and a rating of how they feel about the page.
If you select the checkbox for 'Both', both options will display in your widget and will allow the user to choose the type of feedback they want to leave.
Step 3: Configure the widget
Welcome Message: Display a message at the top of your widget
Language: Select the language of the text within the widget
Rating Type: Allow users to rate your project. Select from Star, Emoji and Heart
Category: Allow the user to select a category for the feedback they are submitting
Attachment: Allow people to attach a file to their feedback (up to 2 mb)
Receive Updates: Allow reporters to receive a notification email when their feedback is updated with a public comment
View Other Feedback: When Userback is used internally, allow people to view other feedback from this project
Auto Hide For API: Used when the Widget is bound to a custom button or link. This will hide the default Userback widget
Powered By Userback: For corporate accounts that would like to remove the 'Powered by Userback'.
Upload your logo: Select a logo for your widget. Recommended size is 200x75
Your widget can be previewed on the left.
Note: The form fields can be turned off as needed and can be made mandatory or not.
Step 4: Select a widget position
By default, your widget will be set to display on the middle right and also display as a center modal dialog. We believe this gives the best experience for your users. Feel free to change :)
